BLUEPRINTS FOR ZERO-G
DESIGNING WORKSTATIONS FOR SPACE

To place humans in space requires a number of systems.  To allow them to perform useful tasks requires a place to work, but when you are not on the planet just how do you provide adequate working facilities and equipment to ensure the crew is happy, safe and productive? This presentation explains how the design of crew compartments inside the spacecraft and facilities outside the vehicle have been developed as programmes objectives changed. The presentation also includes information on how supplementary equipment has been provided to aid the space explorers in their tasks.
